Joel Heffner accidentally became a writer more than 40 years ago. Dumb Is Good explains the crazy way he was asked to write a book about wedding photography and then write articles in the New York Times. He had no previous writing experience!

Since then he has written articles for newspapers and magazines and has spoken at many groups, including: Rutgers University, Tech-to-Go Conference, Alice Austen House Museum, S.C.O.R.E., Professional Photographers of Greater New York, Richmond Ever Green Garden Club, Toastmasters District Conferences, and more.
